Interventional Radiology Location: Phoenix, AZ Agency: United Health Care Staffing Pay: $3,000 to $3,100 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist – Contract Phoenix, AZ 85013 $3000 – $3100 Weekly Gross Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a high-acuity imaging team in Phoenix, AZ. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a Level I Trauma Center , assisting in a wide range of advanced IR and neuro procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. Position Details Shift: 8-hour Day Shifts (Mon–Fri) 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM Schedule: Weekdays with occasional Saturdays Call: None Weekly Pay: $3000 – $3100 Gross Department Overview IR Suites: 2 General IR Suites 1 Spine IR Room 2 Neuro Endovascular Suites Cases Per Day: 5–10 EMR: Cerner PACS: DR System Key Responsibilities Assist physicians during interventional radiology and endovascular procedures Scrub and maintain sterile field during procedures Prepare and operate IR imaging equipment Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures Collaborate with RNs and physicians during sedation cases Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems Common Procedures GI/GJ tube placements Ports and angiography procedures Lumbar punctures & myelograms Nephrostomy tubes and stent placements IVC filters and blood patch procedures Neuro procedures (preferred): Embolizations Stroke interventions Endovascular stents Requirements ARRT (R) Certification Active Arizona License (MRTBE-CRT) BLS Certification Level I Trauma experience (Required) Strong IR procedural experience Preferred Qualifications VI Certification (a plus, not required) Neuro IR experience (highly preferred but not mandatory) Scrub experience Work Environment No floating outside Radiology Sedation cases supported by 2 RNs Technologist scrubs alongside physician Equipment includes Philips Allura and Medrad injector systems ?
